The Galanopoulos family has a 170-year tradition in the art of bell making and the manufacture of brass bells. With roots in the Kalarrites of Ioannina and a historical path that begins in Constantinople in 1875, this art has been passed down from generation to generation, growing and resonating in churches, flocks and mountains throughout Greece and the Balkans. The “Kypria”, as our bells are known, are made with passion, traditional techniques and materials such as copper, earth and fire.
Today, Konstantinos Galanopoulos continues this family tradition with dedication, creating each piece by hand, just as his father and grandfather taught him. Each bell and every bell is not just an object; it is a sound, a history and a culture. Here, tradition is not a past — it is present and future.
